From your drawing to a clear brief
LONGLIN can process and customise from customer drawings and samples.
Bring the detail you have in mind
A custom hardware discussion works best when the visual idea and the practical requirements arrive together. The company catalogue states that LONGLIN can work from customer drawings and samples. Share your concept so we can review the details that need to be defined.
A photograph can explain a shape or finish direction. A dimensioned drawing gives the discussion a firmer basis: overall dimensions, fixing positions, interfaces and the intended use all matter.

What to include in your enquiry
- Your drawing or sample reference, including its revision or date.
- Overall dimensions, fixing positions and the parts the hardware must fit.
- Material and finish requirements, with an existing catalogue reference if useful.
- Expected quantities and any intended size family.
- The destination and the timing you would like us to review.
What happens before a supply decision
Ask us to confirm the proposed specification, sample arrangements, quantity requirements, pricing and production plan in writing. A drawing enquiry does not automatically establish tooling, stock, a lead time or a finished-product approval.
If you are starting from a catalogue model, describe which details should remain and which need to change. Keep the original model number in your brief, but identify the custom version separately to avoid mixing it with a standard catalogue selection.
